MAD Brussels is thrilled to extend an invitation to up to three Brussels-based fashion brands to participate in a showroom during Paris Fashion Week in September-October 2024. Through this initiative, we aim to provide brands with the opportunity to gain exposure towards buyers and profit from the advice & contacts of an agent in order to create sales.
Presence in a showroom during Paris Fashion Week
Access to a global network of buyers, including department stores, independent multi-brand retailers, and digital pure players across international strategic key markets
The agent arranges B2B appointments and also ensures diligent follow-up on those meetings and sales appointments.
The standard fee for this action is 5000€, and will be covered by MAD Brussels.
Access the virtual platform LeNewBlack, facilitating a streamlined buying process, from showroom meetings to online assortment selection and order placement. Please note that this additional feature is mandatory and the cost must be covered by the brand (see section 'Participants Responsibilities' below).
Elegibility crireria
Brands must be headquartered in Brussels or, in case operated by individuals, based in Brussels ;
Brands must have been in operation for a minimum of one year ;
Brands must have developed a minimum of two collections (or equivalent).
Selection criteria
Demonstrated capacity (financial, human resources, operational) for exportation ;
Possession of a distinctive and complete collection suitable for showcasing during Paris Fashion Week & in line with the showroom style ;
Clear vision of target markets.
Participation Support
MAD Brussels will financially support the presence of the participant at the showroom of Untitled during Paris Fashion Week in September/October 2024.
Untitled Showroom will :
Promote and create awareness around participating brands by inviting buyers
Present brand’s collection to buyers in showroom
Take care of the negotiation of commercial conditions
Follow-up of the brand's wholesale orders
Follow-up on order process: from order process to payments to deliveries
Provide additional support as needed: brand strategy, collection merchandising, communication & PR
Participant Responsibilities
Selected participants must:
Collaborate with the organising team by providing promotional materials and product information ;
Cover their own travel expenses (mandatory presence for assembling booth & disassembling, packing/unpacking items included, take care of installation in showroom)
Cover the packing & shipment of their collections
15% commission on orders
Contribute to the cost of the virtual platform used by the showroom (€1,000 per season).
Provide written feedback or attend a feedback session after the Fashion Week.
